Contest Rules
  1. The Washington DC Rant and Raves website and contest is provided by Pickle. By participating in this contest you accept and agree to these contest rules and the Pickle Terms and Conditions.
  2. Open to U.S. Residents age 13 and older.
  3. The contest will run from January 5, 2007 – January 31, 2007.
  4. Entries are based on the submission of video clips ("Entries").
  5. Users may submit multiple video clips.
  6. Only original works made by the entrant will be eligible. Entrants must have exclusive rights to all intellectual property as well as consent from each recognizable natural person that appears in the Entry.
  7. Entries must be accompanied by a valid e-mail address in order to be eligible.
  8. The winner will be chosen by Pickle on February 7, 2007 from all eligible Entries received before February 1, 2007 at midnight EST. The selection will be made based on overall entertainment value in sole opinion of Pickle's judges.
  9. Following the selection the winner will be contacted by e-mail.
  10. If selected winner does not respond within 7 days the prize will be automatically forfeited and the runner up will be awarded the prize.
  11. Chances of winning depend on number of eligible Entries received, which is unknown.
  12. Only one copy or very similar version of an Entry will be accepted per entrant per contest.
  13. Decision of contest judges is final and binding on all entrants.
  14. LocalPoint TV, Pickle's partner, reserves the right to not air the winning clip if it is not deemed suitable material for television. This assessment is made solely by LocalPoint TV.
  15. Pickle reserves the right to publish the winner's name, photographic likeness or statement without any further compensation to the winner. You release Pickle and Pickle's partners from any and all claims arising from such use.
  16. Employees, contractors, and agents of Incando Corporation and their respective immediate families are not eligible for this contest.
  17. Prize winners are responsible for all taxes associated with contest prizes.
  18. Void where prohibited by law.
  19. Upon request, prize winners agree to provide proof of eligibility, a hand-signed version of the Pickle Terms & Conditions, a Consent and Release for every identifiable person shown or depicted in the winning Entry. We reserve the right to deny awarding prizes to entrants that cannot provide the prescribed proof of eligibility, related documentation, and consents.
  20. Pickle assumes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or illegible content submissions.
  21. If Pickle is unable to operate any contest as planned (due, for example, to administrative or technical difficulties), Pickle, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate such contest. In the event of an early contest termination, notice will be provided via the website.
